I also know of Traugott Wilhelm Kolb, born Goldlauter 11 Sept 1814. He married Aurelia Philiphina Hager, also from Goldlauter, b. 26 dec 1819. The came to USA in 1873. He died in Ft Dodge in 1895, she in 1900. One of their children, Fred Ferdinand was born in Goldlauter in 1855. He married Augusta Catherina Will in Renbeck, Iowa in 1877. After farming in Ft Dodge area, they moved to Lodi California, where she died 2 April 1935. He eventually returned to Ft Dodge and died there in 1943. She was the daughter of Christian Ernst Will, born Goldlauter 1821, died Ft Dodge 1895.48
